Ashley graduated from FIT in New York City in 2013 and began creating custom pieces under Ashley Harris Design shortly after. In 2025, she officially launched her brand, Drafted in Detroit.
We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm. Messages with be replied to within 72 hours unless otherwise specified due to being out of office.
Custom Orders
All custom, made-to-order, personalized, and one-of-one pieces are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation once production has begun.
Ready-to-Wear Items
We want you to love your purchase. If you experience an issue with a ready-to-wear item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at AshleyHarrisDesign@gmail.com. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

All custom garments have a 8-10-week turnaround time. This may increase or decrease depending on the season.
Yes, we recommend supplying your own merchandise for custom orders, so the final piece is personalized and centered around something meaningful to you!
Each garment is thoughtfully handmade by Ashley in Metro Detroit, using materials carefully sourced from local shops.
